What's in that?: Pineapple upside-down cake shot
If you’re in the mood for dessert after dinner, but just can’t eat another bite, Norty’s may have the solution. The pineapple upside-down cake shot “tastes like dessert,” says bartender Ricky Seckinger, but “doesn’t fill you up like a cake would.” The shot, which combines vanilla vodka, pineapple juice and a splash of grenadine, tastes mainly of pineapple, masking the vodka taste. That’s good, Seckinger says, because you can drink a lot of them. Just don’t drink too many — you don’t want your dinner to end up all over the floor.
