Fountain City Brass Band Concert
This concert features the Fountain City Brass Band of Kansas City, recent winners of the championship section of the North American Brass Band Association Championships for the second straight year. The band also won the U.S. Open Brass Band Championships last November and was named "Most Entertaining Band" at that competition for the last three years. Among the band members are two Missouri Western State University students -- Tim Thomas of St. Joseph and Joe Hull of Lebanon, Mo., as well as Western faculty members Steve Molloy and Lee Harrelson, who is the band's artistic director.
